"On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross..." starts a hymn singing about the crucifixion of Jesus. It sings of His willingness to give His life that was without sin for all of us that are guilty of sin. The price He paid cannot be measured nor can it be justified in human terms. Only in the terms of the love of the Father in heaven willing to give His Son Jesus for all of us. For you specifically He was willing to die. His life was not taken for no army or group of religious leaders could take the life of the Son of God but Jesus had the power to lay down His life and take it back up again. That is what He did. Death, Hell, and the grave were defeated by His resurrection. No longer, for those that accept Him as Savior, do they have any concern about death. The Apostle Paul said to die was gain. What he meant was that through the accepting of Jesus life does not end at death but begins in heaven where there are no tears nor death.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, you can, right now. All you need do is ask Him to enter your heart and He will. You will then be His for all eternity.
