Truly believing that an important part of worship is music and singing PSBC devotes the talents of it members to both singing and playing it is piano and organ, strings like guitar and banjo as well as an autoharp or whatever instrument is brought. Each is used to magnify the message of Jesus Christ in a exciting and spirit filled ministry.
The Choir sings each Sunday morning with rehearsals on Wednesday nights at 5:57 PM. We present both the well familiar hymns along with newer music and praise choruses.
Every fifth Sunday we have a "Sing and Share" during the evening service. For this time anyone that is led to sing or play a song, share a favorite verse or testimony, or all the above is invited to do so. These Sunday nights have been some of our times of deepest worship.
For special services such as Christmas and Easter the Choir will present a full program at the morning service prior to the holiday. Many times the program will be an original that was penned at PSBC and will be presented publicly for the first time. We also present other cantatas written by contemporary authors like the Gaithers, Don Moen, Craig Adams, and more.
Below are some pictures from the Easter 2019 program which was a PSBC original entitled..."From the Cradle to the Cross". In music and narration, the story of Jesus was told from His birth in Bethlehem to His victorious resurrection on Easter morning.
We pray you enjoy this and if you would like to be a part of an exciting Praise and Worship ministry, come join us!
